Sennheiser HD 215 Headphone Review

 Product Name: Sennheiser HD 215
Price: £70 (Down to £50 on Amazon, gogogo!)

Sexy, aren't they?

Well, it's my birthday today, and as such I was given money, and I bought myself a lovely lovely pair of Sennheiser headphones. After spending some time with them, comparing them against the various headphones I have around the house (including a pair of studio quality reference monitor 'phones) I think I am ready to give my verdict.

OMIGOSH AWESOME

Ahem. *Straightens smoking jacket, pats down slacks.*

Do you get what you pay for?

This post was inspired entirely by a recent dilemma of mine. Namely, my birthday.

I'm notoriously difficult to buy for, so my nearest and dearest usually just shower me with pictures of the Queen, and everyone's happy. This year, it gave me several options:

1) Clear off my student overdraft
2) Buy a new guitar
3) Buy an SSD

So, what did I do?

Razer Lycosa Mirror Special Edition Review

Product name: Razer Lycosa Mirror Special Edition
Price: 79.99€

What a mouthful, eh? From here on out, I will refer to this as simply the Lycosa Mirror, to keep things simple.

The Lycosa keyboards (and their little brother the Arctosa) take their names, like all other Razer keyboards, from spiders. The Tarantula was the first, and the upcoming BlackWidow. And here we have the Lycosa. I once googled that word and swore never to do so again, as it is an especially large, hairy and ugly spider. It's something of a testament to the quality of this keyboard, then, that an arachnophobe such as myself can use one of these on a daily basis (indeed, I am typing this review on it right now) and not be entirely repulsed based purely on the name. More after the jump...
